This multifunctional cardio trainer consists of two large pedals and a simple hydraulic mechanism with two cylinders that allows you to exercise on the spot by transferring the weight of the body from one leg to the other, simulating walking up stairs.
The balancing ministepper combines stepping and rotational movements, making it not just step up and down but with one simple adjustment, it also twists. Exercise motion on the stepper includes both up and down, and side twists, which strengthens the muscles of the legs, buttocks and back, engages your core, strengthens the joints and provides an endurance building cardio workout improve the function of the cardiovascular and respiratory systems. The twisting motion causes a more intense load to fall on the inner thigh and waist and allows you to train the oblique and lower abdominal muscles.
To get the most out of the FS5000, we recommend maximising core engagement by alternating your steps just short of a full depression on each pedal. This means pulling your leg back up just before you reach the bottom of each step, forcing you to engage your abdominals to balance, and help you work up a pulsing rhythm.
The LCD Monitor counts your time and steps, it is removable to flip and change orientation, to suit which way you face when using the stepper, and it runs on a replaceable AAA battery (Included).
